Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Foxtail Millet
  • 1 no Chopped Onion
  • 2 tbsp pomegranate seeds
  • 1/2 tsp ghee
  • 1 tsp urad dal
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
  • 1/4 tsp mustard seeds
  • 5-7 nos curry leaves
  • 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 cup Curd
  • 3 cup Water

Instructions
 

  • Prepare Millet: Wash the millet 3-4 times and soak it for 30 minutes. Boil water, add millet, and cook until the grains puff up like rice. Add salt, drain, and set aside to cool.
  • Tadka Preparation: Heat ghee in a pan, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, a pinch of hing (asafoetida), and curry leaves. Sauté until aromatic.
  • Mix and Serve: Combine the tadka with the cooled millet. Add curd, chopped coriander, pomegranate seeds, and chopped onion. Mix well.
  • Garnish & Serve: Serve with a side of lemon pickle for an extra burst of flavor.
